Sprint Triathlon, Aquabike, Duathlon

This registration is for adults and young adults that are interested in participating in a traditional distance sprint triathlon. Unfortunately we are unable to offer Youth events under our current insurance contract for this race date.

Come and join us for our second training event for 2022. Transition opens TBA (depending on heat index, race will start either 6:00 am or 6:30 am)

The distances are approximately:

Swim- Roughly 500 – 700 yards
This variation is due to changing water levels at Boulder Beach and park placement of buoys.

We do offer a duathlon for this race: Please let us know you would like this option at check-in. The distances for our duathlon are 1 mile run, 12 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run.

The aquabike is the same course as the sprint triathlon minus the run

Please rsvp for this event.  We have a permit for 50 athletes only!  The average water temperature for June is 78 degrees and wetsuits are allowed

Race starts promptly at 7:00 am

Timing Chips are sold in our store and must be worn for athletes that want to participate in Tri Club Point Series (overall points for annual award).

To the Boulder Beach Special Events location:

From Boulder City to Boulder Beach:

Travel on Highway 93/95 South to Boulder City. Turn left at the Boulder City traffic light and continue on 93 South. Continue on 93 South until you see signs for Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Enter the National Park and stop at the entrance station to pay the National Park Service entrance fee. Stay in the left lane into the Park and continue on Lake Shore Drive. Lake Mead RV Village is located at the second turn on your right.

From Las Vegas to Boulder Beach:

Lake Mead is located approximately 45-60 minutes from the Strip. From I-15 South or Las Vegas Blvd., exit on 215 East. 215 East will turn into Lake Mead Drive. Stay on Lake Mead Drive until you enter the National Park. After you pay the National Park Service entrance fee at the entrance station, take the very first right, towards Boulder Beach. You’ll pass a Ranger Station and the Fishery. Once you pass the sign for Boulder Beach, turn left immediately into Lake Mead RV Village.
