SUMMARY:LVTriClub Race Series #1 2021
DESCRIPTION:Sprint Triathlon\, Aquabike\, Duathlon\, Relay\nPlease note: Due to Covid-19 restrictions by the National Park\, we can have only 50 athletes for this race. There will be social distancing measures and other precautions to keep our members safe. More details will be shared to registered participants closer to race date. This race may be postponed due to Covid-19 if the State or National Park deem it necessary.\nThis registration is for adults and young adults that are interested in racing an Aquabike (swim-bike only). The youth race which has shorter distance options\, is a separate event registration. \nCome and join us for a fun aquabike race\, it consists of a swim and bike only\, no run.  Dismount your bike outside of T2\, rack bike and safely run through the finishing shoot right outside of transition and you are done! Transition and registration open at 5:00am and the race starts at 6:00am. \nThe distances are approximately: \nSwim- Roughly 500 – 750 yards\nThis variation is due to changing water levels at Boulder Beach and park placement of buoys. \n \nBike- 12 miles \n \nPlease rsvp for this event.  We have a permit for 50 athletes only!  The average water temperature for July is 81 degrees and wetsuits will not be allowed as per USAT rules and guidelines. \nCourse Cut Off Times\nDue to our permit we must enforce cut off times to ensure that we have everyone safely off the course and our trailer is packed and ready for removal at the time specified by the park.\nRace starts promptly at 6:00 am\nThere is no swim cut off\nAll athletes must be done the bike by 9:00 am (3 hours after start of race). Course closes at 9:00 am. \nAward ceremony for aquabike will begin at 7:30 am and Raffle prizes will be drawn after awards\, until course closes at 9:00 am. \n  \nIf you would like to sign up a youth member of your family\, please note that it is a separate event registration\, it will be listed on our events page. \nTiming Chips are sold in our store and must be worn for athletes that want to participate in Tri Club Point Series (overall points for annual award).
